On the 27th February, it will be the capital of the United Kingdom that hosts the ninth edition of Travelhastag, which will be entirely dedicated to the promotion of tourism in Italy. Partners include ENIT, ITA Airways, Basilicata Region, Forte Village, Palazzo Fiuggi, Palazzo di Varignana, Tenuta di Artimino, Life Hotels & Resorts, Booknbook and Travel Uni – Equator Learning.
Travel Hashtag, the travelling event conference which was created in 2019 to explore the scenarios that will emerge in the near future regarding the tourism industry, inaugurates its 2023 programme by returning to London for a ninth edition entirely dedicated to inbound Italy.
“Together with ENIT, we are working on an edition deliberately focused on business networking “. – explains Nicola Romanelli, founder and president of Travel Hashtag – “2023 will be a year of further growth for tourism demand and with our format, we want to give small and large Italian players the opportunity to promote themselves in a confidential and high-profile context, which is ideal for the development of B2B relations. Travellers from the UK are at the top of the list of foreign tourists choosing Italy: Travel Hashtag will be an opportunity to further fuel the UK market’s interest in our destinations”.
#matchless is the hashtag chosen for this first international stage of 2023, which will take place on Monday, 27 February, at the Melia White House and will be attended by the most authoritative buyers from the UK market who are already experts on the Italian market. Among the partners that will energise the London initiative are ITA Airways, Basilicata Region, Forte Village, Palazzo Fiuggi, Palazzo di Varignana, Tenuta di Artimino member of Meliá Collection, Life Hotels & Resorts, Martulli Viaggi, Travel Before, Master Explorer, booknbook, Travel Uni – Equator Learning and the charter carrier Air Horizont. Guests who are also expected to attend include Antonio Nicoletti (General Manager APT Basilicata) and Aldo Melpignano (Managing Director San Domenico Hotels).
From London to Dubai, from New York to Abu Dhabi, over the last two years, we have brought regions, municipalities, operators, brands, institutions, managers, entrepreneurs, and airlines to meet those abroad who consider Italy the priority destination to sell to their Leisure, Corporate, and MICE clientele. In 2023 we are returning to London, Dubai and New York, but we will also add stops in Stockholm and Bangkok. The only Italian edition is scheduled to take place in Cremona in March, and, as always, it will be an opportunity for insiders, institutions and stakeholders from the world of Travel, Aviation and Hospitality to meet and share trends and visions of tourism of the future.
